From August 24-30, 2019, Montreal (Canada), birthplace of the 1987 Montreal Protocol, will host the 25th IIR International Congress of Refrigeration – ICR 2019. This conference is the world’s leading event for research and industry in the HVACR sector. Covering all fields of refrigeration, ICR 2019 is expected to surpass the success of previous congresses, and will be a unique opportunity for researchers and engineers from all over the world to meet, exchange and publish the results of their research. The 25th event in the series is set to welcome its largest audience to date.
An impressive 1,000 abstracts were received for the 25th IIR International Congress of Refrigeration. Among those, two abstracts of DryFiciency consortium members have been accepted. These are:
- “Decarbonization of industrial processes with heat pumps” by Veronika Wilk and
- "Turbo-compressor for R-718: Simulation and verification of a two stage steam compression cycle" by Michael Bantle, Christian Schlemminger, Marcel Ahrens.
