By addressing the different aspects of the solution starting with components, working systems, different case studies of the open-loop and closed-loop heat pump system, the online events will connect the dots and act as a co-creation platform between the relevant actors.

By bringing together, fostering knowledge exchange and collaboration between the heat pump industry and biorefinery, ceramics, food and pet food, fish industries as well as agriculture, sustainability NGOs, policymakers, the intention is to contribute to the common goals and objectives of Europe’s industrial strategy.

Industrial heat pumps actively recover waste heat. The system is rather simple: heat pumps increase the temperature of waste heat streams to a higher temperature, making those steams usable again.

The objective of the online seminar is to highlight the integration and reliability of the actual heat pump systems in the industrial environment. 

The open-loop and closed-loop high temperature heat pump systems will be demonstrated in 3 case-studies highlighting achievements at AGRANA, Wienerberger and Scanship.
